How many times have you stopped to think about how what you eat affects you? Today, more than at any other time in human history, we have access to a world of processed foods and "manufactured" flavors tailored to our tastes, but not always to our nutritional needs. With so many flavors at our disposal, it is very easy to indulge in gluttony and ignore the medium and long-term effects of consuming certain types of foods. And so we can go through life thinking that eating healthy is an option when in reality it is a necessity if we want to have a better quality of life.
